Re: OnePoint Free Data Space Percentage
Mark,
This alert exists to because MOM needs roughly 40% of free space in the
database to perform maintenance tasks.
Tasks such as grooming and re-indexing require a lot of free working space
to work properly.
If you drop much below 40%, you'll notice more events telling you certain
maintenance tasks have failed.
If maintenance tasks fail, eventually you'll run out of space because
grooming hasn't taken place.
To resolve this you'll have to shorten your periods between grooming
intervals.
You'll find this in the Global Settings of the MOM Administrator Console.
