RE: sp upgrade
Yes, I'm having the same or very similar problem since loading SP2 and
creating a home network. I also uninstalled MS Money 2002; but now I can't
uninstall or reinstall any MS Money 02 components. I've followed all the
recomendations I can find uncluding Windows Installer CleanUp Utility which
returned "Runtime error - 2147024882 (800700e): System Error &H00004005
(-2147467259). Unspecified error." I'm hesitant to use the manual registry
resolution found in MS Knowledge Base Article 823216 because I'm not sure if
the problem is Money, SP2, network configuration, or what. Good luck to both
of us.

RE: sp upgrade
I tried the registry "fix" with no results, good or bad. Hope MS reads all
these posts and works on a fix, especially considering Money is their own
product! Good luck!

Microsoft Money 2002 System Pack -- Error 1606.Could not access network location

Is this the error you're getting? I have spoken with many people regarding a fix but to date no one has come with a positive comeback. I have tried this and with very little gain I have been able to isolate the problem for certain things that I have done in my system.

Registry
local machine
software
microsoft
money 2002
remove the folder..but before doing so create a backup to your desktop.
after removing and backing the registry file try downloading anything from the internet.

This was done on a machine running XP Pro...

Re: sp upgrade
Pretty much the same problem, no solution so far as I know. I have removed
the service pack twice and don't plan to reinstall any time soon as I have
all the other patches up to this point and firewall and antivirus programs
doing their job for me. Good luck
