4.4.7
I am getting this error when sending to some domains:

Kevin Koernig (E-mail) on 8/13/2004 12:17 AM
Could not deliver the message in the time limit specified.
Please retry or contact your administrator.
<mail.littletongov.org #4.4.7>

I use nslookup and can resolve the MX record.
I can telnet to port 25 at the resolved address, however in the smtp queue I
get:

The remote server did not respond to a connection attempt.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Scott,

Can you tell us how you solved this - the exact same thing is happening for me.

Thanks,
Gerry

Re: 4.4.7
I had left some external DNS server entries in my default SMTP server.

Here's what I did:

Default SMTP Server in ESM
Properties
Delivery (Tab)
Advanced
Configure External DNS
Remove Entries

Good Luck! Let me know if it works.
