Why nobody answers my question ????
Since I updated MSN 6.1 to 6.2 I'm having two problems.
First: since about one year I replaced some of the sounds
of MNS (when email arrived, when somebody is calling for a
coversation or when one my friends is coming on the net)
by personnal sounds. There where no problems before,
everytime I was starting XP and the Internet Explorer I
got my "sounds".
Since 6.2 I have to Choice and indicate again my sounds,
everytime I start up the pc.

Second: most of the time MSN is not starting up
automaticaly.
I Already was deleting (add/remove) MSN 6.2 from my system
but have still the same problem. I also think that
my "remove/add" was not completely deleting MSN, because
I still got my "sounds" in the list when I installed MSN
6.2 again.

Thanks for helping.

People don’t answer all the questions. Maybe because no one know the
answer. Half of my post go unanswered.

Also, you might try posting to this news group. Still you may not
get an answer

microsoft.public.msn.messenger

Sorry, I cant help.

Greetings Tuurke,

Actually this is a bug within the current version of Messenger. What you can do is downgrade
to 6.1, which you can find here:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/redir/61installer.asp
(You'll need to uninstall 6.2 first).

Thanks.
I alreadey installed the MSN 6.1 and I don't have sound
problems anymore. But everytime I'm starting the PC Msn
6.2 is announced. Who can I know when the BUG will be
fixed.
