So far, this is what I've found out about the 1344 error. The fix below has
worked for at least one person:

After going through all the links trying to find out why that Line 1344
Script Error kept me from printing either in Outlook or Outlook Express, I
finally called Microsoft. They scheduled a second level call to me and
after a few things to try, the solution was that a critical registry key was
missing. There is no explanation why it was missing, but I was able to
recover it from another machine and I am back in business. Absolutely
amazing after many months of torture!

Here it is, but I'd find the key from a reliable machine and get a quality
copy of the file to keep from destroying your system... This is from a W2K
Pro OS.

I have just applied SP2 to XP Home and now get this message. It only occurs
for HTML formatted emails. I don't have any registry entries for the keys
shown but I don't understand the @ entry and hesitate to make any change. Can
anyone be more specific about these entries.

Re: Print error OE6- script line 1344

Those of you having the line 1344 script error when trying to print in
oe6. I just had to come back and let you know I finally found a very
simple fix. Hers my post to the site. Steve you are an Angel!!!! I,ve
been working with this problem for a few months now. If you do a google
search, you'll see what a problem this is for soooo many people and what
suggestions other people had. I tried most of them with no luck. Was
getting ready to edit my registry as suggested by admin Matt on
forums.devshed.com/t133545/s.html because this apparently worked for a
lot of people, but I wasn't looking forward to it. (LOL) Then I finally
found this site with your answer. It took all of 2 seconds and WORKED.
Thank you so much, your the greatest! By the way, mine was the line
1344 scripting error in OE6. If you have time and do a search for this
in google, could you please put your answer in some of those sites. I
know they will greatly appreciate it. I will try to post this on as
many as I can. Once again thanks very very much. BTW microsoft was of
no help either. Where have you been for months LOL This site is now in
my favorites, of course. You made me a very happy person. So go to
this site and fix your problem. http://tinyurl.com/cgadp

Re: Print error OE6- script line 1344

I have a very similar problem in that I cannot print from OE6.

My message says:

Line: 297
Char: 26
Error: Expected ']'
Code: 0
URL: res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

Doe anyone know if the "Fix Script Errors" or "shdoclc dll Fix it now"
hyperlinks at the end of this thread would be OK and if so which link
is the one to use.

Alex

What you're looking for is this...

Try this (IE/OE closed).
Start -> Run -> Type "regsvr32 ole32.dll" (without quotes) in the box -> Ok.
If the problem isn't solved, see here:
