IE6 Won't Launch
After installing a microsoft system upgrade, I can't get an IE6 browser
window to open. Downloaded all IE files from Microsoft....still doesn't
help..... Ideas appreciated.

cannot launch i.e. 6.0 sp1. after internet connection established, click to launch explorer and nothing...lock up.
then close program dialog and i.e. "not responding". therefore can't update macafee using netscape b/c they use directx. help would be well received.

Helps if you post what OS (operating system) you're using.
If it's XP then put your cd in the drive, click Start > Run & type 'sfc
/scannow' without the quotations & click ok.
Any other version then go into control panel > add/remove programs, choose
IE & hit remove/change. Try the 'repair' option first, if that doesn't work
then remove it, revert back to older version & try a reinstall of IE
