windows restriction is blocking my intrusion detection from turnin
Hello, I cannot turn on my intrusion detection because I get a message that
says failed to save setting, please verify widows account is not restricted.
Can some one please tell me how i can fix this. I would really appreciate
this. Also I am using Norton

I have this exact same problem! Could you pass on any info you may have
gotten on how to fix it.

Hello:

I just had the same problem, but when I went back to Norton and clicked on "Liveupdate" it downloaded the Norton Intrusion detection signatures and the problem went away.

Now I am trying to download the WMI update and I am having problems, if anyone knows what the problem is, please let me know. I have already gave permissions to everything in my registry.

I am also getting the same message for intrusion detection !! the other day my DNS was 127.0.0.1- Weird - than a day later this happens. Scaned for viruses and bots- not sure what to do next beside reloading norton, and thats no fun.

ok i tried installing the update for the intrusion detection and once that was done i tried turning on intrusion detectiion to find that it came straight on !
