pinnacle pctv rave
have just fitted this to my computer and cannot seem to get the sound to work
on it.
have uninstalled a few times but still nothing.
have a compaq evo d510 sff
windows xp pro
built in sound module soundmax
have connected the card to the sound in port, but still no joy.
will buying speakers help to resolve this?
all tests that are done say that everything is working fine!!
thanks for any advice on this.

Do you mean you don't have speakers or are you asking if buying NEW
speakers would help? Double check the plug in you put the speaker jack
in. Make sure the volume on everything is turned up, start an MP3 or
something, then try each jack and see if you can get any sound out of
the computer. If all else fails, contact HP to see if they can help you.
