Spyware 'about:blank'

How is it that Microsoft doesn't know about this spyware that pops up on my IE every time I try to open it! In the address bar it reads 'about:blank' and has a search page rather than myMSN.....I have downlaoded and paid for spyware removal downloads tha
t have done no good!!! How do you remove this....I think Microsoft better find a cure for this or you will be loosing a lot more customers besides me!!!

About:blank isn't spyware, well not on its own anyway. It can be set under internet options in the address. Type in your preferred home page, if you press the use blank button you will see the about:blank appear.

So come down, give the horse a nice drink and apologise for going off on one.

Jayan, You obviously haven't had much experience with about:blank and search pages. They are adware/spyware. Griff, you will need to use a utility such as cws shredder to aid in removing the problem.
