How to draw an outline of an arrow

Without using pictures or freeform drawing, I want to draw
an outlined arrow.

That is, instead of making a simple arrow like this ---->,
I want to get the _outline_ of the arrow, like:

---------| \
\
/
---------| /
|/


Hope the ascii art comes out. Basically, imagine drawing
a thick arrow, and then invert the colors.

Try Insert > Symbol. Select Font "Arial Unicode MS" then use symbol 21E6
thru 21E9

It depends on how big you want it to be. The Wingdings 3 font contains quite
a variety of hollow block arrows, but if you want a drawing object, check
the Block Arrows palette on the AutoShapes menu on the Drawing toolbar.
